The City of Wooster's Comprehensive Plan Update – Wooster Envisioned
The City of Wooster has initiated the process of updating our Comprehensive Plan, which began in October and is expected to be completed by the end of summer 2014. The Plan serves as a guide for the future of Wooster and incorporates topics including land use, transportation, utilities, public safety services, and parks. The process of updating the Plan, entitled “Wooster Envisioned”, has been coordinated by City Staff and the city’s consultant for the project, OHM Advisors. Additionally, a steering committee has been formed for the project to inform the process and provide detailed feedback and a telephonic survey of city residents has been conducted to gather information from the community.
Public input is an essential aspect of the Wooster Envisioned process. To participate in the process, you can attend one or more of three public meetings that will be held. The first public meeting will be held on Thursday, January 23rd from 6-8 PM at the Wooster Community Center, 241 South Bever Street.
