The 2024 Housing Opportunities Update below shares a summary of the several new housing projects underway in Wooster and the multiple City programs available to support our residents. Along with Wayne Metropolitan Housing Authority and Community Action Wayne / Medina, the City of Wooster had an opportunity to share this update at the volunteer-run Third Annual Community Meeting on Housing and Homelessness in Wayne County, held on April 11, 2024. All three partners are members of the Wayne County Housing Coalition, an inter-agency consortium of nonprofit housing and social service providers meeting regularly to address housing support for the benefit of all residents.
