Starting March 2, 2026, WayGo is shifting its weekday Demand Response hours to better support our community’s morning commute. While the total number of service hours remains the same, we are moving our start and end times one hour earlier.
Updated Demand Response Hours (Mon–Fri)
NEW Hours: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Current Hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
*Note: Saturday service and the Fixed Route Loop hours remain unchanged.

Need a more flexible ride?
WayGo demand response is a curb-to-curb service that picks you up and drops you off in areas one mile beyond city limits, with special service to and from the Wayne County Career Center.
Service Hours
- Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fares (One-Way):
- $5 general public / $3 elderly and disabled.
To receive the reduced fare, riders must provide proof of eligibility during their first trip. Once verified, your status will be saved in our dispatch system for future rides—no need to show documentation again.
Acceptable forms of verification include:
- State-issued ID showing date of birth (for seniors)
- Social Security Administration benefits verification or award letter
- Veterans Affairs Disability letter
- Signed and dated doctor’s note on official letterhead
- Proof of current eligibility for another transit agency’s paratransit or reduced fare program
*All documents must be signed, dated, and provided on official letterhead where applicable.
Already Verified by Community Action Wayne Medina?
If you were previously verified for disability or senior status under the Wooster City Transportation program, you may show your old transit ID as proof of eligibility.
*Please note: Riders who were approved solely based on income are not eligible for reduced fare and must pay the general public rate.

- All vehicles operate within a 15-minute pickup window
- No service on these holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
Fixed route service runs hourly on a loop through Wooster, making regular stops along the way.
Service Hours
- Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fare
- $1 General Public Riders. Riders must pay with exact change at the time of boarding.
- Seniors over 62 years old and people with disabilities ride the fixed route for free.
- All vehicles are ADA-compliant
- Seatbelts are required
- Smoking, eating, drinking or offensive language is not permitted
- Bring exact fare; drivers do not carry change
- Shared-ride system: Other passengers may be picked up or dropped off during your trip
- Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) ride for free. Please notify dispatch if traveling with a PCA.
