Join us on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 for a Family Friendly

“Scavenger Hunt” Event.

This event will utilize the City of Wooster bike paths and will feature 12 stops with stations that participants will either take a picture of an object or answer some Wooster related questions. This event is geared towards adults and youth (youth younger than 15 must be accompanied by an adult).  Participation in the full event could include covering a span of 6 miles throughout the day. It will be up to each participant and family to decide their level of participation.  Guidance will be provided to participants wishing to cover less miles while enjoying this event. You may elect to either run, walk or ride a bike for this event (helmets must be worn while riding a bike).   

The stations will be located along the existing bike path and may include stops at any of the following locations:

  • Wooster Safety Service Center 
  • Oak Hill Park 
  • Kinney/Soccer Complex Trail 
  • Oaks Church (Old Layton Elementary School) 
  • Mike Baus DDS
  • College of Wooster

Event Cost: $5.00 - Individual
                     $10.00 - Family 
Registration ends on June 4th at 12:00pm.

Event check in @ City of Wooster Soccer Complex, 130 Oldman Rd.

Check-in will start at 9:30am, with the event beginning at 10:00am (unless the current Mask Mandate has been lifted, Masks will be required at check-in.)

A current youth/adult participant waiver must be on file with the City of Wooster Recreation Department for all individuals participating in this event. These waivers can be filled out and submitted online and can be found by clicking the link below. 

A current COVID - 19 Waiver must also be on file with the City of Wooster Recreation Department. This waiver must be downloaded, filled out then sent in via email to or dropped off at the Wooster Recreation and Community Center located at 241 S.
