3RD - 6TH GR YOUTH BASKETBALL
"The 2026 Wooster Recreation Basketball Season was a success, bringing together athletes, families, and fans for a year of teamwork, growth, and community spirit. The program showcased talent and dedication of players across all age divisions. From buzzer-beating finishes to inspiring displays of sportsmanship, every game reflected the heart of our community. Beyond the scoreboard, the season emphasized skill development, leadership, and fun. Volunteer coaches and staff created a positive, supportive environment where players built confidence, formed lasting friendships, and strengthened their love for the game." - Coach Baker
1ST & 2ND GR BASKETBALL
"It was a pleasure for me to run the 1st and 2nd grade basketball program for the second straight year for Wooster Recreation. I enjoyed teaching basketball skills and techniques with the kids and helping them learn the game of basketball. We concluded the skill sessions with 3 on 3 games. We emphasized teamwork and defensive fundamentals during the games. I hope the young players enjoyed their time with the program." - Coach Kline
