Wooster Fire ACBC Donation Box

Wooster Firefighters Local 764 and Aluminum Cans for Burned Children (ACBC) would like to thank all citizens and businesses that participated in our charity.

2018 was a big year for ACBC in Wooster! There was an additional collection site added to the program. We now have a collection bin for aluminum cans in the Wooster City Hall parking lot and behind the Milltown Buehlers. Please continue to donate bagged cans and gently place into the container.

Local area businesses also participated in the annual LCR tournament which raises funds for activities. Wooster Brewery, City Square Steak House and St. Paul Hotel all donated items that were placed in baskets to be bid on at LCR tournament.

Local donations for ACBC were over $2,100. Wooster was also listed as a top donor for North East Ohio ACBC.

The ACBC program serves pediatric victims of fire, ages 5 to 16 years of age. The program provides a summer and winter camp for 25 to 30 children annually. Additionally, the program provides fire safety education to over 3,000 Northeast Ohio school children monthly. The program covers schools in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Lake, Geauga, Portage and Wayne Counties.

Once again, THANK YOU for all that you do for the Fire Department, the Fire Fighters, our Charities and our community!
