The Wooster Firefighters Local 764 and the Wooster Division of Fire are pleased to announce our 16th annual "Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries" program on November 3rd and November 4th, 2017.
Members of Firefighters Local 764 will be available to assist any City of Wooster resident with the exchange of their smoke detector batteries, insuring that the primary method of notification in the event of a residential fire is intact. The smoke detector's batteries, replacement, and testing of the unit's function will be provided free of charge.
Register
Interested City residents may register by calling the Wooster Fire Division business line at 330-263-5266 and providing name, address, and number of smoke detectors to be serviced. Registration ends November 1st at 5:00 pm, no exceptions please.
We will be changing batteries on Friday November 3rd and Saturday November 4th between the hours of 9am-noon & 1pm-4pm.
