Wooster Police Department Bicycle Rodeo - June 3rd


The Wooster Police Department will be hosting the sixth annual Bicycle Rodeo, presented by the Kiwanis Club of Wooster and Walmart, at Cornerstone Elementary School on Saturday, June 3rd from 10am-1pm for local children in Kindergarten thru 5th grade.

The Bicycle Rodeo is a bicycle safety clinic featuring safety inspections and instructional lessons on the rules of the road taught by Wooster City Police officers. A course will be set up in the parking lot where participants are shown where and how to apply the rules.

Registration is FREE, forms are available at www.woosteroh.com, www.woosterkiwanis.org or at the event. Each participant will receive multiple free giveaways and lunch. Stick around after the Bicycle Rodeo for Main Street Wooster’s Kid’s Day located in the Wayne County Public Library Parking Lot.

The event is sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 61, Certified Angus Beef, The Clothing Warehouse, Cleveland Clinic, Frito Lay, Perry ProTech, Ride On, Theil Family Trust, Wooster City Schools, Wooster Recreation Department and WQKT.
