Wooster Manditory Income Tax Filing On June 5, 2006, Wooster City Council passed legislation that requires all residents of Wooster, age 18 and older, to file an income tax return with the City starting with the 2006 tax year. This law change removes the exemption previously allowing residents with only interest, unearned income or W2 income from a company located in the City of Wooster not to file.
Tax Rates: The Wooster tax rate remains unchanged at 1% of Wooster local taxes.
